Will barefoot shoes hurt at first if I'm used to heeled shoes?
There is a brief adjustment period as your foot returns to its natural position. Most BÄR wearers feel the difference within 1–2 weeks. We recommend wearing them for a few hours a day to start.

Quality was good but from a barefoot shoe i would have expected much thinner soles so its more engaging for the foot. However, if you transition from strongly cushioned shoes to barefoot this is a very good inbetween.
The shoes are well made, with a wide toe box and true zero-drop design. Although they’re marketed as gym shoes, I plan to wear them for most everyday occasions as well.
In terms of fit, going one size up works best for me when I’m wearing thick sports socks. If I wear them without socks, my regular size fits perfectly. I also use toe spacers, which makes the slightly larger size feel comfortable and natural.
My only concern is that Baer doesn’t seem to offer an option suitable for Indian monsoon conditions—these shoes are likely to get soggy in heavy rain.
I was pleasantly surprised by how high quality the shoes were. It's not everyday that you see a product made with thought and care. My Bär purchase has convinced me to give their other products a try when I'm looking for a specific kind of shoe.

They’re very helpful for deadlifts I mainly ordered them for gym use, but you can also wear them casually, they’re perfectly fine for that too.

Its biggest USP in the barefoot category is its design and looks.
Nice wide toe shoe and true to size. good for the gym as in for functional fitness, weights and rowing, not so good on the treadmill though perhaps it will take a little longer to get used to.
